Tube Rack 100 – SBS Rack, 100 mm

Tube Rack 100 is the SBS-format base of the 3D-LabEq platform for 15 mL and 50 mL centrifuge tubes and most other tube formats (not HPLC vials). It stands in a standard deck slot of your Opentrons OT-2 and takes the matching Tube Holders. It is the only rack that you can combine with Bottom Plates.

Use on other liquid handlers

Developed for the Opentrons OT-2. On other liquid handlers with an SBS-format deck, you can set up the product as custom labware; this use has not been validated by 3D-LabEq.

Safety note: The supplied JSON labware file does not replace calibration. Before first use, you must calibrate the labware on your Opentrons robot yourself (Labware Position Check). Operation without calibration is at your own risk.

The number in the rack name is the rack height in mm. All racks share the SBS footprint 127.8 × 85.8 mm.

Suitable vials

Tube Holder 24× 1.5 mL HPLC: Fits 1.5 mL ND9 HPLC vials, Ø 11.6 × 32 mm, and 2 mL screw-thread vials, Ø 11.5 × 32 mm.
Tube Holder 24× 4 mL HPLC: Fits 4 mL screw-thread vials, Ø 14.7 × 45 mm.
